Day Wise Itenary
Welcome to Guwahati – the Gateway of North East. Pick up from Guwahati Airport and visit Balaji Temple and
Umananda Temple which is situated in the middle of the Brahmaputra river. Evening enjoy the River Cruise (at
own cost). Further check in at hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Guwahati.
After Breakfast, checkout & leave for the capital city of Meghalaya- Shillong, on the way to Shillong we will
stop at the Umiam Lake, which is located just 15 km before to the capital city of Meghalaya. The crystal clear
blue lake is about 220 sq km in radius and surrounded by the beautiful hillocks.
Further continue drive to Shillong. Upon arrival check into the hotel in Shillong. Evening have a leisurely walk
locally. Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.
Morning start your journey towards Cherrapunjee, the heaviest rainfall destination in the world. On the way
comes Mawkdok Valley where we will stop to explore Mawsmai Cave. Further drive to visit Nohkalikai Falls,
world’s fourth tallest waterfalls. Later visit Eco Park and Seven Sisters Falls. Post activity back to Shillong for
overnight stay in Shillong.
Post breakfast pick up from hotel and head towards Mawlynnong. Here one can view the fascinating Living
root bridge and Mawlynnong Village, Asia’s cleanest village. Later drive to Dawki. Visit Umngot river and local
sightseeing at Dawki. Also visit International Bangladesh border. Evening back to Shillong for overnight stay in
Shillong.
After breakfast, check out from Hotel & proceed to Guwahati, check into the hotel. Local sightseeing of
Guwahati, Overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel & drop at airport / railway station for onward connection.
